One of the largest in the North, our integrated team is headed up by Partner Lachlan Nisbet. An ‘excellent communicator’ who ‘leaves no stone unturned’ according to The Legal 500, Lachlan handles cases concerning health and safety, public and administrative, criminal and disciplinary law, along with regulatory compliance, white collar crime and trading standards matters. He’s also one of the UK’s pre-eminent firearms and field sport lawyers.

Lachlan is supported by fellow Partner Claire Burrows — a ‘Next Generation Partner’ in The Legal 500 and specialist regulatory compliance lawyer with expertise in health and safety, environmental, food safety, product safety, medical device regulation and coronial law. Claire is also an expert when it comes to crisis management and complex regulatory investigations.

Legal Director Deepika Raino leads our professional conduct team and is highly experienced in case presenting and defending fitness to practise cases as well as discipline and misconduct investigations. She acts for a range of professional clients and organisations, offering support in safeguarding and internal investigations.
