What is Business Club?

Brabners Business Club is a quarterly breakfast event hosted in our Lancashire office

It’s designed to give business leaders and professionals from across the North West region the chance to establish and grow their networks and develop further working relationships in an authentic way over a coffee and a croissant.

What to expect at a Business Club event

Each Business Club event welcomes a different expert speaker, giving you the opportunity to learn about topics that matter to you and your business.

Plus, if you’re keen to create awareness for your own brand or business, we’re happy to give our members the chance to be an expert speaker themselves at a future Business Club event in a room full of potential customers and clients.

As a leading independent law firm with award-winning corporate and commercial teams, we’re well-placed to bring business contacts together to generate authentic discussions on purpose-led growth and prosperity.

Through True North — the collaborative network for purpose-led businesses — we regularly publish data and reports that provide insights and practical guidance to help organisations to scale their impact. If you're a like-minded organisation, committed to collaboration and supporting the future of the North, we want you to join us.

How to join Business Club

All Business Club events are invite-only because we want to make sure that attendees feel comfortable in their surroundings and are able to talk openly without fear of disclosure elsewhere.

If you're interested in joining Business Club, get in touch with Nikki Whittle, who organises and runs our events.

Nikki is an experienced corporate and insolvency lawyer who works with a variety of clients, from SMEs to large corporations. She handles matters relating to owner-managed and family businesses throughout their lifecycles, from start-up to exit via trade or private equity sale, management buy-out or sale to an employee ownership trust.

Nikki also advises business owners on scaling up through natural expansion, acquisition or private equity investment. Additionally, she assists investors and shareholders in protecting their investments by preparing and advising on the necessary agreements, from pre-investment to handling investor exits.

Recognised by The Legal 500 as a 'Recommended Lawyer', Nikki has received the 'Young Lawyer of the Year' award at the Insider Young Professionals Awards in 2018 and was named one of Lancashire Business View's top 25 female entrepreneurs and innovators to watch in 2021.
