Chen Ji

Paralegal

Chen is a Paralegal in our corporate banking and finance team.

In 2024, Chen completed our Vacation Scheme and accepted a Training Contract with us.

Chen read English Law with German Law at New College, University of Oxford and holds an LLM from the University of Bristol. During her time at Oxford, she co-hosted the Oxford Undergraduate Law Podcast. She also featured on New College's '72 Weeks' Podcast to share her experience as a state-educated woman studying at the historically all-male Oxford college.

Prior to her legal career, Chen worked in teaching and disability inclusion. She taught English as a Second Language and supported young people with Down’s Syndrome, as well as wheelchair users, at sports and social events.

Multi-lingual, Chen speaks English, German and Mandarin Chinese. Outside of work, she participates in choral singing and is an amateur flautist.

Chen is based in our Manchester office.
