Kate is an Associate in our family team.
While she advises clients on all kinds of family law issues, Kate specialises in financial matters that arise on separation and during divorce proceedings, as well as childcare disputes.
She has worked on complex financial remedy proceedings including around offshore Trust structures and complex business assets, as well as international matters such as claims that arise following an overseas divorce.
Kate’s compassion is key to what makes her such an outstanding family lawyer. She always works to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.
Having wanted to be a solicitor for as long as she can remember, Kate undertook a six-week placement with us during her second year of university, where she spent time with our family team. This led to her becoming a Paralegal in 2017, shortly after graduating. She started her training contract with us in September 2019 and qualified in March 2021.
Kate is based in our Liverpool office though is commonly seen around our Manchester, Leeds and Lancashire offices too.
In her spare time, Kate is a registered puppy walker for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and Governor of a local primary school on the Wirral. She’s involved in the Liverpool Law Society Family Sub-Committee and regularly attends Merseyside Young Professional events.
