Robert is an insolvency and restructuring expert in our corporate team.
He is an experienced insolvency and restructuring lawyer who handles recovery and insolvency issues for administrators, trustees and insolvency practitioners as well as banks, asset based lenders and other financial institutions. He has particular expertise in advising the directors, shareholders and other stakeholders of non-performing businesses.
Rob has particular expertise in the retail, construction, real estate and sport sectors. He has significant experience in dealing with insolvency litigation claims for both office holders and defendants, in which liquidators or administrators bring claims to clawback assets into the insolvency estate.
With a strong background in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, Rob has acted for some of the most active insolvency practitioners in the Manchester market place.
He is classed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 which notes he “always provides sound legal advice in a timely manner, is able to think laterally” and has “very good commercial acumen”. He is a ranked lawyer specialising in insolvency and restructuring by Chambers and partners in which he has been described as 'strong technically, commercial and approachable'
